Administrative Manager
Position Description
The Center for the Integration & Advancement of New Americans (CIANA) is a nonprofit social services organization that works to integrate new immigrants from South Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Latin America into the socio-economic and civic life of American society while maintaining pride in their cultural heritage. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are looking for a highly organized person to work closely with the Founder/CEO to help manage the organization.
The Administrative Manager is a critical part of CIANA’s leadership team, helping the CEO manage CIANA programs, write grant proposals, recruit and train staff, and maintain office operations. It requires an organized, flexible, people-person, with excellent communication skills and is comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a hectic environment.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree

Two years of administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit field

Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Office coordination and management skills;
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of staff;

Experience with database and record-keep systems;
-
Fluency in another language (Arabic, Bangla or Spanish) is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities

Assist CEO with all administrative, program management, and reporting tasks.

Act as the point person for logistics between programs and office operations;

Recruit and orient staff and oversee internships;

Communicate across programs, coordinate activities, maintain staff attendance and agency records, and ensure timely record keeping;

Liaise with community coalitions and partners, public officials;

Participate in community events and meetings, and assist with outreach and advocacy efforts;

Assist with fundraising campaigns, events, grant writing, and donor relations;

Respond to inquiries;

Maintain updated contact and donor mailing lists;

Build community resources;
-
Assist with social media, newsletters, and public relations events;

Manage office site and ensure that office is well supplied and maintained on a regular basis.
Compensation/Benefits
-
$45,000 - $55,000 commensurate with qualifications
