CIANA has helped enroll more than 300 New Yorkers in NYC Care, a free and low-cost health access plan for New York City residents who cannot pay or do not qualify for most types of healthcare, including Medicaid.
Offered through NYC Health + Hospitals, NYC Care is designed especially for immigrants who cannot apply for healthcare due to their immigration status.

You must live in the five boroughs of New York City

Anyone can apply for NYC Care, regardless of immigration status.
The application does not ask for social security number, proof of legal status, or any immigration documents.
