Adult ESL Classes

CIANA offers new immigrants the opportunity to acquire basic English language skills in order to advocate for their families, achieve their personal and professional goals, and prepare for citizenship and civic participation.

ESL Classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday on Zoom from 10:30 AM -12:00 PM.

Civics Classes

CIANA prepares future Americans for the naturalization test and interview in small classes. Our Civics classes promote a better understanding of U.S. history, government, and American institutions, and promote civic engagement.

Civics Classes meet every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM -11:30 AM on Zoom.

Legal Services

CIANA’s legal program assists with completing immigration forms, naturalization and permanent residency applications, family petitions, DACA, adjustment of status, and other immigration issues. We offer legal consultations and direct representation with an experienced immigration attorney to meet immigration needs.

Case Management

CIANA provides case management, information, and referral services to assist eligible individuals and families to obtain affordable housing, SNAP, SSI, Medicaid, Medicare, employment, job training, and a variety of other services in addition to resume development and job application advisement.

Elementary After School Tutoring Program

CIANA offers one-on-one and small group homework help to elementary school students in grades 1-5.


Tutoring is held on Tuesdays and Thursday from 5:30PM - 7PM on Zoom during the school year.

SONYC Middle School After School Program

​The Middle School after school program, offered through School's Out NYC (SONYC), offers students academic support, as well as recreational and leadership activities. Our program fosters exploring interests and personal goals.
